Christmas Was...

Christmas was pretty cool this year. I'm not going to get into presents and all (it can get pretty boring, I know) but we had snow for the first time in years on Christmas! I was super happy! We even made a snow bear! We had great food, a great time with the new “toys”, and I loved that we read the Christmas story before opening gifts. It was a cool time.

I had so much fun watching Lil’ Sis take in the festivities. Since this is her first Christmas with us in America, we let her open her gifts up first. It was so cool watching her play with her little toys the rest of the day and thanking our parents!

Arista, of course, got gifts related to her amazing artistic abilities, so I kept Lil’ Sis out of the way. Paints plus a toddler is no good thing. Trust me.

I enjoyed the day by drinking warm chocolate milk, listening to music, and enjoying my time with family.

Anyways, that was my Christmas in a nutshell. It was the best yet for me, and it made me think of how blessed we truly are.
