I sure wish my dad was here for this day... *sigh* Nothing's wrong or anything, so don't worry. He had to leave on a business trip this morning during church, so we barely had time for a father's day celebration. It got me to thinking... why just 1 day out of 365? Why do we do the breakfast in bed, presents, chore "coupons" (ya'll who have done them know what I'm talking about!), and general niceness to them on certain days?
Most people say teens get "rebellious" towards their parents. I personally haven't had that happen to me, but I know I could do a whole lot more for the amazing couple I am privileged to call "Mom" and "Dad".
Anyone with me?
