Randomness Friday: Wacky Voices...

Don't worry, I'm not going crazy. I'm not hearing these weird voices in my head or anything, but rather on my television...

You're probably thinking, "Care to clarify, Prism?"

Children's programming. Have you ever noticed that the majority of children's programs out there have characters that look pretty different and have some of the weirdest voices? I'm not saying the voice actors sound funny, I'm just saying the way the manipulate their voices sounds somewhat...unnatural?

Am I the only one who thinks that characters in children's TV shows sound like they've sucked on helium or something?

It's officially been a year since we've adopted my Lil' Sis from India. You may want to go back in my posts a year to see the chronicles of it all, but I can assure you, it's been an amazing ride.
I can't believe it... A year already!

♥ you forever, Lil' Sis!

Often people look at me in disbelief (both in the blog world and real life) when I say I'm in Tae Kwon Do, and that I'm a black belt.
I find it quite amusing at the reasons...

"Dude, you're tiny!" (*glares* When did that ever stop anyone?)
"You're too sweet!" (*snicker* You sure 'bout that?)
"You're too quiet!" (*yells* No, I'm not! *grins*)
"You're too girly!" (*yelp in surprise*)
"You're too delicate!" (Oh, puh-leeze)
or, just:
"You're doing what?!"

But I love it! I mean I've worked so hard, cried numerous times, hurt myself, gotten sore muscles, and yes, even bled to get where I am today. But I find great joy in it for some reason. Whenever I nail a kick, memorize a whole form, or fend off sparring partners, I know I'm getting a good workout, learning self-defense, and having a blast!

Besides, there's nothing sweeter than the loud slap of a kicking paddle when you just nail that roundhouse kick...
