Beware of the Blue Demon!

A mildly funny thing happened at my Tae Kwon Do black belt test. We rushed from violin lessons to my house for me to change into my dobak (uniform) and hanbul (belt). I didn't have time to eat nor fill up a water bottle. My dad had gotten this energy drink from his work, and he decided that this was the right time to use it. So we got to Tae Kwon Do, and I was all pumped up for my test. As time passed and I became more fatigued, I became scared because I started shaking and my eye hand coordination was awful. The energy drink helped a little bit in the end, or maybe it was the water I drank when the energy drink ran out, but I broke five boards and a brick with various techniques. We later found out it was the Blue Demon energy drink that had messed me up. My parents and I were joking the other day and my dad said, "Maybe we should give it to you before violin lessons so you can do the vibrato!" But oh how we laughed over what seemed at the time frustrating and confusing! Anyway, I am now a black belt and am getting used to the responsibilities.

What your dad said was hilarious! I have been so frustrated with my left hand! My old teacher didn't teach me how to hold the violin properly when I was a little kid, and so when I got my new teacher she's been struggling with me... Now thinking of trying to find something that would shake up my hand like that would be hilarious! (it'd freak my teacher out too!)

~Sorry that it freaked you out though ;)
