Second, because rock music is usually seen as hard music and even related to satanic music.
So, if non Christian people see Christian people listening to such-related music, won't it be a little confusing to them?
Besides, I believe that Christian music is to glorify and honour God, not to our amusement or enjoyement.
That's just my point of view =)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5181968668880831109.post-2194511268579287102010-01-13T15:58:27.215-06:002010-01-13T15:58:27.215-06:00Hi Prism, on this subject I do have an opinion. But I do tend to say away from the more modern bands. If you listen the music on my blog, that is the kind of music I am interested in, there are a few songs there that beat, but most of them are softer songs. But I have been to a few of the modern Christian band concerts and have really enjoyed myself. So is modern Christian music bad, personally my answer is that it really depends on spirit of the people in each individual band. Like Casting Crowns, they have some wonderful spirit filled music, I just think we need to be able to see the fine line as you put it, and stay on the right side of it.

God Bless and thanks for addressing this very important topic!

Abigail PrudenceAbigail Pruencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03800046676445361447noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5181968668880831109.post-51101898274439410672010-01-13T13:29:21.563-06:002010-01-13T13:29:21.563-06:00I awarded you!!

I like rock, not heavy, gross stuff/satanic but the kind that I've heard at concerts(where its generally really loud – but still praising God… as well with a lot of jumping around *grins*)
Thanks for posting this (I may have to pass this onto my mom&dad..hehehe)

-LJarehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10667740007997127065noreply@blogger.com
