Welcome, welcome to my favorite day of the week- Friday!!!

Today I'm actually doing a topic for this week's post. (I know, right? How weird is that???)

Books!

So, my friend Buttercup commented on my last post on A Summer's Secret by Kathleen Fuller. You all have noticed my little notes at the bottoms of my review of books lately, right?

That's because I have joined two reviewing sites that lets bloggers keep the books they review in exchange for an honest, well written review.

Pretty cool, huh?

Here are the sites:
BookSneeze (Thomas Nelson Publishers)
Tyndale Media Center (Tyndale Publishers)

So, both are Christian and both are awesome. All sorts of books are on there- fiction, non-fiction, adult, kids, you name it. It's sort of like a grab bag, you have to be pretty fast to catch a good read. I've reviewed several books from each site, so I give it my stamp of safety approval.

However, I suggest you speak with your parents about this. As they send the books to your home, the sites ask for your full name and address. Only join if your parents say it's okay. I believe there is also an age limit somewhere, but I'm not sure.

Booksneeze also publishes your reviews on their site, allowing the name you provide to be published along with it. So the name you provide is up to you, mine is "Prism Book Reviews" as you can see if you click on the below button:
I review for BookSneeze

I've been finding several other sites recently, but have yet to be replied to. If I get a reply, I'll be sure to post about it on here.

Speaking of books to review, I recently received TWO new books from author Nancy Rue!

Pretty cool, huh? I think so, and I'll be reviewing them in the coming month.

Summer is almost here for me! I can barely hold the excitement in! My plans?

1. Reading a TON
2. Horseback riding for the first time in a long time!
3. College prep! (Eh, summer can't be too perfect)
4. A trip to...DISNEY WORLD!

Yeah, it's totally awesome. I can't wait! I've never been before.

Until Monday, y'all!

God Bless,

On Book Sneeze which catagories did you choose to find these books? Like Young Adult, etc. Also, which book reviewing company do you like the best, because I am considering doing it! One more question, do they give you a time frame you have to do the review in or do they just not send you the next book until they confirm you have done the review for the last book you recieved?

Blessings,
Maggie

@Music Chica: No problem. It's an honor to have you here! How cool and I'll be sure to check it out!

@Maggie: I checked all of them off, because I knew that if a really good book came in the genre I didn't check off, I'd miss it. All books available are displayed, though. From my experience, I like Booksneeze best, but, of course, it links to your blog with the name you provide.
For both sites, there is no time frame, but you do have to finish reviewing the book on your blog AND a retailer's website before getting a new one. For me, getting, reading, and reviewing a book took about two weeks.

God Bless you both!
